Dr. Gödölle graduated from the Law Faculty of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest in 1989. He studied commercial and international private law for one year at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany in 1987-1988; he continued with postgraduate legal studies at Queen Mary and Westfield College (University of London) in 1990-1991, where he obtained his Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and European Competition Law. As a corporate, commercial and intellectual property lawyer, he has been practising in Hungary since 1991, and he joined Bogsch & Partners in 1995, where he is a partner since 1996. Dr. Gödölle frequently deals with issues related to antitrust, unfair competition, and advertisement law, as well as with franchise, trademark and copyright matters and he has extensive experience in information technology and media law issues. He is a member of the Budapest Bar, the International Bar Association (IBA), Section on Business Law, being there a Vice-Chair of the Eastern European Forum, furthermore a member of the Hungarian as well as International Association of Competition Law (LIDC), the International Association of Industrial Property Rights (AIPPI) and the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (MIE). Dr. Gödölle is on the Editorial Board of the European Copyright and Design Reports (ECDR), and gives lectures at international conferences and publishes articles in various legal periodicals mostly on IP related issues. He is fluent in English and German and speaks French.
